When you hire staff for the first time, it is important to register with the tax authorities and KVK as an employer. At the Tax Office (Belastingdienst)<\/a>, when you register as an employer, you get a payroll tax number. This is required because employers must withhold payroll taxes from their employee’s salary. Of course, a tax return must also be filed. At the KVK,<\/a> it is important to pass on the changed personnel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tip #2: Delve into Laws and Regulations
,<\/strong>When you hire staff for the first time, there are a lot of (as yet unknown) laws and regulations involved. Therefore, it is important to seek depth in good employer and employee-ship.
